flowers
My grandma makes these flowers for me. I just tell her what colors I want, then she makes all different styles and sizes. Aren't they adorable?

Santa Monica Mini-Album
I have always wanted to go to Santa Monica, ever since I heard the Savage Garden song about it. Since we moved to San Diego, I kept hinting about it to my husband, bu the never made plans for us to go. So one Friday moring, I made plans for us to go that evening and spend the weekend there. It was the best mini-trip we have ever taken as a family. Supplies: My Minds Eye (patterned paper & die cuts); Karen Foster (album); K & Company (die cuts); Making Memories (paint); Maya Road (acrylic journaling tags); other (ribbons)

Shower Monsters
Gabby loves those little bath capsules you soak in water to grow sponge animals and shapes. She thinks they are the best entertainment you could possible have in the bath, and I love that they only cost a dollar for a dozen. Her favorite ones are the aliens, which we now refer to as our "shower monsters".
Supplies:
American Crafts (patterned paper); Jelly Bean (journaling tags); Paper Reflections (cardstock); Slice (big kids cartridge)

Birds of a Feather
It's great when your best friends have kids who become your kid's best friends. Gabby and I both loved spending time with Jason (and we enjoyed Jennifer's company too). I took this picture when the kids were watching a veggitales movie. Supplies: K & Company (patterned papers); Stampin' Up (chipboard); Prima (pebbles); Maya Road (acrylic journaling block); Making Memories (letter stickers); Bazzill (cardstock)

Girls Night
These are my girlfriends/scrappin' buddies. We get together as a group atleast once a month. we say were scrapbooking, but really we just eat junk food, watch movies, and have girl talk. On this layout I wanted to combine photos from two different girl's nigths. By printing some photos in black & white, you can easily put photos from different days or events on the same page without having the colors in the photos clash. Supplies: prima (paper); ki memories (chipboard letters); making memories (journaling block); american crafts (ribbon); sassafras lasss (flower)

easter card
After trying out several card designs, I finally picked a card design that I am happy with. I used 2nd generation stamping to achieve the perfect colors (that's where you stamp your image on scrap paper before stamping on you card, which makes your colors softer). The picture we sent with our cards is from a trip my husband & I took to Santa Monica a few weeks ago. Supplies: die cuts with a view (cardstock & patterned paper); american crafts (ribbon); close to my heart (stamps & ink)

Sonic: Sweet Love
I love sonic! It might possibly be the only place I miss from Tennessee. But now after almost three years without a local sonic, it has arrived in San Diego!!! We went opening day, and sat in line for two hours! And it was worth every minute! Naturally I had to immediately go home and make a layout about it! Did I mention I love sonic? Supplies: doodlebug (patterned paper); bazzill (cardstock); jillibean (journaling block); colorbok (stickers); slice (letters)

Must Be Love
Let me just tell you all right now, that I'm not a cook. In fact I have a slightly irrational fear of ovens and avoid using them at all cost (I actually have a toaster oven and a george foreman, just to ensure I don't have to use my oven often). But people at my church always love it when I make "my cupcakes". People seem to think that I like to bake & have perfected the cupcake. Well the truth is I use pillsbury funfetti cake mix that you buy in a box, and I simply follow the directions on the box. Then I frost it with the funfetti frosting. (Of course, I make sure my husband is home to put it in and take it out of the oven.) So this is a layout of my cupcakes that people love so much. Supplies: pebbles inc. (patterned paper, journaling block, & title block); my minds eye (buttons); other (kraft paper, buttons, & thread)
