Rock Star

I found this saying ona shirt and knew it was pefect for my daughter. Then one evening at disney (our home away from home) she was wearing this hoody & sunglasses and it reminded me of how the stars always look on TMZ when they are trying not to be noticed.
Supplies:
bazzill (cardstock); k & company (glitter papers); moxie (patterned paper); fancy pants (felt shapes & pins); american crafts (leather letters); making memories (glitter letters & brads); e k success (guitar sticker); close to my heart (stamps)

birthday calendar

I stole this idea out of the new close to my heart catalog (which you can contact me to get a copy of). I'm going to add some ribbon to make it a wall hanging, then give it out as mother's day gifts this year.
Supplies:
close to my heart (paper, stamps, inks, rub-on, & pen)

Easter cards

This is one card I'm considering for my Easter cards this year. I can't decide on colors, stamps, direction to make the card fold, or what border punch to use. In fact all I can decide on is I want to send out Easter cards sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Supplies:
close to my heart (stamps & ink); paper reflections (cardstock); prima (flowers); american crafts (ribbons)

inks

I love close to my heart stamp pads. And no I'm not saying that just because I'm a consultant. In fact it more like I'm a consultant because I loved them (and bought them) so much that it only made sense to become a consultant. But back to the inks... I just love all the vibrant colors, I love the way how they look with my adorable acrylic stamps, and I especially love hollyhock, sweetleaf, & twilight. Just thought you should know.

baby girl cards

These adorable cards were made using my slice. I cut the center out using a scalloped circle found on the basic 1 cartridge and then cut out the onsie using the animal crackers cartridge. I couldn't decide if I wanted the card made of cardstock or a patterned paper, so I tried both!
Supplies:
die cuts with a view (patterned papers); paper reflactions (cardstock); american crafts (ribbon); k & company (rub-ons); other (buttons)

No Place Like Home

Anyone who lives in San Diego knows it never rains here. But once a year we will get just enough rain to feel like we are back in Tennessee during a storm.
Supplies:
bazzill (cardstock); making memories (patterned papers, buttons, letter stickers); fancy pants (chipboard cloud & letters); kiaser craft (wooden flower); stampin' up (spiral border punch)

So Lucky

So here are my St. Patrick's Day/Friendship cards I made. The inside says " to have a friend like

you". I love these colors together. They are so soft and springish (I'm sure that's not actually a word, but that's okay). The lettering was done on my slice, the wedding cartridge.
Supplies:
die cuts with a view (yellow cardstock & patterned paper); bazzill (green cardstock); stampin' up (ribbon)

Thinking of You

Everytime I've seen a card that says "thinking of you" in the last few weeks, my mind breaks out into Katy Perry's new song with that title (and trust me, with my singing ability, its best that its only in my head and not out loud).
Supplies:
paper reflections (cardstock); die cuts with a view (patterned paper); pebbles inc (rub-on saying); other (brads & felt butterfly)

Wedding Page

So this is one of the sample pages I made for a designer album at a local scrap store. I almost never use black in any scrap pages. I usually think of it as a depressing color, but it doesn't look that way on this page.
Supplies:
doodlebug (paper); e k success (stickers); creative imaginations (shimmer letters); other (jewels)

3.12.2009

my slice

This is my slice. It's made by making memories, and it is the greatest die cut machine ever. I love to use it for lettering on my pages. It is way cheaper than buying lots of stickers for youe page titles, and you can make any size up to 4 inches on any paper you chose. No I don't work for their company, and I'm not trying to sell it to you, I just really enjoy mine, and am going to feature a lot of pages using it in the future, so I thought I should let you all see what it is.

card set

My mother-in-law asked me to make a card for her during a recent visit, and I made this whole set. Then I loved them all so much, I kept them all and gave her another card (I know I'm a bad person, but atleast I have cute scrapbook supplies).
Supplies:
bazzill (cardstock); making memories (frame & paper flowers); american crafts (ribbons); creative cafe (buttons); close to my heart (stamps & ink); other (felt & silk flowers)

Love To Sing

There is nothing my daughter loves more than singing. Which is why she is obsessed with High School Musical. This page is of her on Christmas morning singing "I Want It All" by Sharpay & Ryan from the third movie.
Supplies:
bazzill (cardstock); my mind's eye (patterned papers, die cut, & glitter letters and star); fancy pants (chipboard hearts & number) making memories (acrylic heart, metal embellishments, & paint); american crafts (ribbon); other (felt flower & pearls)

I love this photo of Gabby saying her night time prayers. And even more, I love her prayer... "Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for my mommy and my daddy and me and little mermaid and tinkerbell, amen".
Supplies:
making memories (patterned papers, brads, flowers, journaling tag, & paper clip); bazzill (ribbon); jenni bowlin (bingo card)

I have been trying out some different easy birthday card sketches. It's a shame you can't see the sparkle of the frosting as well in the picture.
Supplies:
Close To My Heart (stamps & ink); Doodlebug (glitter); Die Cuts With A View (patterned paper); Paper Reflections (cardstock); other (ribbon, buttons, & string)

Fall Cards

I know it's a bit out of season. I'm making card sets for people for Christmas and wanted to start playing around with different ideas for all the holidays.
Supplies:
Close To My Heart (stamps & ink); Imagine That (patterned paper); Paper Reflections (cardstock); other (buttons & string)
